Road Trip 2011

Ron and Karyl took a road trip to 6 National Parks in Utah and Colorado. We put 3145 mile on the trip and used 63.5 gallons for 49.5 mpg, love the Pruis.

DAY 1 we left on friday Sept. 9 and spent the first night in Ontario, Or. We heard that there was a cruise-in at the A&W in Payette Id. not far from where we were staying so off we went. We found Mel's sisters with their cool cars so we rode around for awhile with them.

DAY 2 Sept. 10 we drove to Salt Lake City, Utah and checked out the Kennecott copper mine. Later that night Jason and his friend Ashley and her son Alex stopped by for a good visit.

DAY 3 Sept. 11 went to the Timpanogos Cave in the morning and then drove to Moab Utah.

DAYS 4&5 Sept. 11 and 12 in Moab and went to Canyonlands, Arches, Dino trail and Dead Horse Canyon.

DAYS 5&6 Sept. 13 and 14 we were in Mesa Verda Colorado.

DAYS 7&8 Sept. 15 and 16 we went to Zion National Park.

DAY 9 Sept. 17 was a long 16.5 hour driving day from Zion to Sunriver.
